Looking back at 1999, when I won the bid to make the homepage of the township of Riehen. This included the project lead, consulting, concept, graphic design, programming, database and all implementation issues – a large project. This was the time before content management systems were really usable and a large part of the administrative backend had to be programmed manually. Part of the graphics design was done together with designalltag basel, who also worked at the same time on a new corporate identity for the township.
